Training

Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant organizes both theoretical and practical training and re-training for flight personnel and technical staff, operating and maintaining Mi-171, Mi-171A and Mi-171Sh type helicopters. We offer several variants of training, arranged in dependence of the Customer’s requirements and the tasks that he faces. Thus, the factory can organize the training for the Operator’s flight personnel and technical staff:

• on the facilities of Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant training center
• on the facilities of Russian certified training centers
• on the Operator’s facilities (visiting training)

The program of theoretical and practical training is formed individually for each Customer, with the composition of equipment, installed on the helicopters and the purchased set of testing equipment, taken into account. Beside the main training course, the instructor personnel training is also included into the program.

The purpose of training is transmitting the experience and knowledge, as well as practical skills, required to master and professionally operate the helicopter in the full range of its performance capabilities, to provide the high level of maintenance and flight safety. The trained personnel is capable of independent proper operation and maintenance of Mi-171 type helicopters.

For operators of Mi-171Sh type military helicopters the training is organized by the Russian state special exporter FSUE “Rosoboronexport” on the facilities of military training center in the town of Torzhok
